SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective July 29, 2026
KindMind Behavioral Health, PLLC ("KindMind," "we," "us," or "our") offers text messaging as a convenience for patients who choose to opt in. This page explains what to expect if you consent to receive SMS messages from us, and how to manage that choice at any time. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
01Your Number Stays Private
The phone number you provide as part of the SMS opt-in process is used only to communicate with you and is never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
02What You'll Receive
Once you've opted in, KindMind may text you about:
- Upcoming appointment reminders
- Follow-up notes after a visit
- Billing and account-related questions
03How Often We'll Text
Message frequency depends on your care with us, appointment schedule, and any open account matters. As a general guide, most patients receive no more than a few messages per week related to appointments or billing.
04Carrier Charges May Apply
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to any texts you receive from us. These charges depend on your carrier's plan and may differ for messages sent domestically versus internationally.
05Opting In
You may consent to receive SMS messages from KindMind in either of these ways:
- Verbally, during a phone call or in-office conversation with our staff
- By submitting an online intake or appointment request form and checking the SMS consent box
If you'd rather not receive text messages, simply leave the SMS consent box unchecked, and we'll communicate with you by phone or email instead.
06Opting Out
You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time. Reply STOP to any message we've sent, or contact our office directly and we'll remove you from our messaging list. Changed your mind? Reply START to opt back in.
07Getting Help
Having trouble, or have a question about a message you received? Reply HELP to any text, or reach our office directly at (281) 801-6537.
